In California, real estate licensing laws are regulated by the Department of Real Estate (DRE). New regulations require new applicants to complete three courses in addition to passing the administered test by Department of Real Estate to obtain a Real Estate Sales License. Two of the three courses must include: Real Estate Principle, and Real Estate Practice. The third course can be selected based on the preference of the applicant among the six remaining courses.  Talai School of Real Estate recommends taking the Real Estate Finance as the third required course so the soon-to-be-new-agents are more familiar with financing and loan programs associated with real estate transactions, which are pertinent part of real estate deals.
